Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 2 November 2026. Part of the Terms of Service for offto.it, saveto.it, pingto.it, thumbto.it, authto.it, mapto.it and sendto.it.

You may not use the Services, or let anyone use them through your account, to:

Everywhere

• break the law or anyone’s rights, including privacy, intellectual property and consumer-protection laws;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to;
• probe, scan or overload the Services or our devices, or get around their limits (for example by opening several free accounts for one organization);
• send or store malware, or host content that sexually exploits minors;
• resell the Services as your own without our written agreement.

• send people to phishing, malware, scams or illegal content, or change a printed code’s destination to deceive the people who scan it.

saveto.it

• archive content you have no right to copy and keep, or use copies to republish others’ work beyond what the law allows.

pingto.it

• monitor systems you do not own or have permission to monitor;
• use port checks or short intervals to scan, stress-test or attack anyone;
• point checks at private or internal networks.

thumbto.it

• render pages or documents you have no right to access, or to get around paywalls or access controls.

authto.it

• impersonate another organization on a sign-in page, collect sign-ins under false pretences, or send codes to people who did not ask for them.

mapto.it

• track any person without their knowledge and consent, or where the law does not allow it. Employers must tell employees what is tracked and when (work hours; pausing is available) and follow the law where they work;
• use location history for anything other than the purpose the person was told.

sendto.it

• receive mail for addresses or domains you do not control, or use inboxes for spam, phishing or harvesting.

Text messages

• add a phone number for text alerts or codes without its owner’s consent.

What we do

We may remove content, suspend a key, a Service or an account that breaks this policy, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where we can, we tell you first and give you time to fix it. Report abuse to contact@scaledapps.com.
