Services

Seven services for the parts of an app nobody wants to build.

Links that can be moved after they are printed, documents that outlive their vendors, thumbnails, uptime checks, sign-in, inbound email and geofencing. Each one is small, does one job, and plugs into your own app through an API, a webhook or a standard protocol. All seven sign in with one ScaledApps account.

Service offto.it
Documentation offto.it/docs

Links that outlive their destination.

A QR code or NFC tag, once printed or programmed, is permanent. Where it points shouldn’t be. OffTo.it sits in between: mint a short code, print it or write it to a tag, and move the destination whenever the site moves, the page is renamed or the campaign changes. Nothing gets reprinted or reprogrammed.

  • Codes resolve in milliseconds and are never cached, so the answer is always current
  • Namespaces forward a whole family of tokens you printed yourself, with nothing to import
  • Switch a code off or give it an expiry; a code is never handed to anyone else
  • A links API mints codes as you print and retargets them later
  • Scan counts without tracking: IP addresses are kept only as a salted one-way hash
Service saveto.it
Documentation saveto.it/docs

Documents that outlive their links.

The installation guide for the equipment in a wall was a vendor link the day it went in. Vendors redesign their sites and retire models. SaveTo.it checks every linked manual, cutsheet and spec sheet weekly and keeps a copy of each version, so the guide that matched the installed model stays readable after the vendor’s link dies.

  • Weekly checks, gently, one request at a time per vendor
  • Every version kept; a re-stamped PDF with the same content is not a change
  • A daily email digest when a document changes or its link dies
  • Your catalog registers links through the API and pulls a changes feed
  • Each saved copy has its own page, with every version a permanent link
  • Each document is archived once, however many catalogs link to it
Service thumbto.it
Documentation thumbto.it/docs

A picture of every link.

A list of links tells people nothing until they click. ThumbTo.it turns any web page or document into a thumbnail — a screenshot of the page, or any page of a PDF, Office file or image — ready to drop into your site or app with a single image link.

  • A real browser renders the page as visitors see it, on a desktop or a phone
  • PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF and images, by link or upload
  • Sized, cropped and converted to WebP, PNG or JPEG
  • Signed image links in a page, or the API with a callback when it is ready
  • Drawn once, then served from cache in any size or format
Service pingto.it
Documentation pingto.it/docs

Know before your customers do.

A site can be down for hours before anyone who can fix it hears about it. PingTo.it checks your websites and services every minute, from more than one place on the internet, and tells you the moment something breaks — with only real outages, not false alarms.

  • Pages, required text, health endpoints, redirects, certificates, DNS, ports and cron jobs
  • Confirmed from independent networks; one dropped connection is not an outage
  • Each check timed as DNS, connection, TLS and server wait, so alerts say what broke
  • Email when an outage is confirmed and again when it is fixed
  • Separate warnings for expiring certificates and changed DNS records
Service authto.it
Documentation authto.it/docs

Simple, secure verification.

Hosted, passwordless sign-in for your website or app. People sign in with a one-time code sent by email or text message, on a sign-in page in your branding, and your site gets a signed ID token through standard OpenID Connect. There are no passwords for you to store.

  • Standard OpenID Connect: authorization code with PKCE, RS256 tokens, published keys
  • Each site has its own people: invite-only for staff, or open to anyone who verifies
  • Your name, logo, colour, support email and policy links on the sign-in page
  • Codes expire in ten minutes, work once and are rate-limited
  • Refresh tokens rotate on every use; a reused one ends the sign-in
Service sendto.it
Documentation sendto.it/docs

Email in, webhooks out.

Let your app receive email without running a mail server. Create an address, and every message sent to it reaches your app as signed JSON — sender, subject, text, HTML and attachments — seconds after it arrives. Log the emails your team BCCs, take replies, or turn a supplier’s order confirmations into data.

  • Addresses on in.sendto.it, or on your own domain once you have proved it
  • Plus-tags travel with the message to your app
  • Signed Standard Webhooks, with attachments as links and up to 21 hours of retries
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC results on every message
  • Encrypted while held and deleted after seven days; mail is never sent on
Service mapto.it
Documentation mapto.it/docs

Arrivals and departures, automatically.

Geofencing for your app, without building it. Put a circle around each of your places — homes, job sites, stores, offices — and MapTo.it tells your app when a phone arrives and when it leaves, with the times it really happened. Trigger whatever should happen when someone gets there, or fill in a crew’s time cards even when nobody remembers to tap.

  • Locations from your own app, or from the free OwnTracks app with one setup link
  • Signed arrival and departure webhooks, stamped when the stop began
  • Stops, never trails; raw reports are deleted after 14 days
  • One phone can serve home and work, and the employer never learns where home is
  • Pause a phone off the clock and nothing from that time is kept
